  • Tupperware.jpg
    • A small wash-up area will be available onsite for all exhibitors, along with a designated hand washing sink for those involved in food preparation and handling. For sustainability efforts, please refer to the sustainability section of this page to learn more about how Country Range Group is supporting Visit Belfast’s sustainability initiatives. Exhibition Theming

Belfast – A City of Innovation, Heritage, and Adventure. By blending the rich history of Belfast with vibrant and modern design elements, your exhibition can capture the essence of the city—one that's both fun and fresh, while honouring its deep historical roots.

  • Paint2.jpg
    • Fresh, Vibrant Colours: Use a mix of Belfast-inspired colours like deep greens (representing Northern Ireland’s lush landscape), industrial greys (for the shipbuilding legacy), and bright accents of orange (from the Titanic’s iconic funnels) and blue (symbolising the River Lagan and Belfast’s maritime history).

    • Historical Elements: Incorporate deep, rich tones like burgundy, navy, and gold to evoke Belfast’s proud industrial past and historical architecture.

    • Industrial Chic: metal structures, exposed brick textures, and steel accents to reflect Belfast’s shipbuilding and industrial roots, especially the iconic Harland & Wolff cranes.

    • Maritime Motif: Feature elements like ropes, sails, ship wheels, and compass roses to tie into the Titanic theme and Belfast’s maritime heritage.

    • Street Art Vibes: Belfast is known for its vibrant street art scene, so include colourful murals or wall art inspired by the city’s contemporary culture and history. Graffiti or stencil art can be a fun nod to the city's youthful and artistic energy.

    paint.jpg
    • Titanic Touchpoint: Set up a mini "Titanic" experience

    • Belfast Moments: Create "Instagrammable" spots inspired by the city such as the Titanic Slipways, the Giant’s Causeway, or the famous Belfast murals.

    • Keep your stand design simple - but still
      get yourself noticed.

    • Make your stand inviting to visitors - don't create barriers such as raised platforms as this can intimidate people.

Sustainability at the event

This year, Country Range Group (CRG) and the event organisers AE have teamed up with Visit Belfast to ensure that the event is as sustainable as possible. We are committed to supporting the local sustainability initiatives in the city, helping to create a more environmentally responsible and community-focused event experience.

  • sri-lanka-KSa66AYiqnk-unsplash.jpg
    • Changing The Menu. For Good: This pioneering initiative, developed by Visit Belfast, aims to raise funds and provide food supplies for individuals experiencing food poverty within the city. More details about this initiative can be found here.

    • CRG's Commitment: In support of this initiative and CRG’s core values around sustainability, CRG will work with Fair Share to distribute any unused food products across Belfast and Northern Ireland, ensuring that no food goes to waste. Read more.

    • Too Good To Go: For live cooking exhibitors, we encourage you to notify us via the registration form so we can discuss how we can work together with Too Good To Go to prevent food waste. Read more.

    • Packaging & Utensils: We encourage all exhibitors to use recyclable materials for product packaging and serving utensils. In particular, we are asking that recyclable products be prioritized over compostable ones.

    • Why Recyclable Over Compostable?: Northern Ireland does not have the infrastructure to process compostable materials, meaning they often end up in landfills, making recyclable materials a more sustainable choice.

    • Belfast's Commitment to Sustainability: Belfast is working towards becoming an inclusive, resilient,
and carbon-neutral city by 2050. The city is taking proactive steps to future-proof
itself for the generations to come.

    • There are various sustainable activities and
initiatives that you can engage with while
visiting Belfast. For more details on how to get involved, check out additional resources here.
