Event charity

Hospitality Action

This year at the event we will be raising money to support Hospitality Action, as part of the Country Range Group’s 30th anniversary fundraising effort to raise £100K during 2022 for a raft of charitable initiatives closely linked to our members and the wider foodservice sector.

The money raised throughout the year will be split between Hospitality Action and local causes aligned with our 12 independent wholesalers. Various individual, member and group charitable endeavours and fundraising activities will be taking place and announced throughout the year.  They will include a 30 million step challenge at the Group’s headquarters.

There will be a charity raffle which will take place during the 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner, all donations made on the night will go to Hospitality Action.

Don’t worry about having cash to hand as we will have card readers available to enable you to donate via credit or debit card!

Please donate as generously as you are able for this very worthy cause.

About Hospitality Action

The Country Range Group and its members partner with Hospitality Action to support their incredibly important cause.

CRG was the first wholesaler to sign up to Hospitality Action’s Employee Assistance Programme which has been developed by hospitality people for hospitality people and now supports over 100,000 people. Via the programme, staff working for the Country Range Group and its 12 wholesalers, are able to access crucial, totally confidential help, support, advice and resources when they are facing difficulties in their home and working life.

Hospitality Action has been assisting people in the hospitality industry since 1837, providing help and support to those who work or have worked in the industry, when they are in need.

With over 180 years of experience, supporting the people working throughout the hospitality industry’s vast tentacles, Hospitality Action is uniquely placed to understand the things that affect the industry’s people the most.

Whether you work in hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars or cafés, schools, hospitals or event venues, they’re here to give you the help, advice and support you need whenever times get tough. Whatever challenge you face – from physical illness or mental health issues to financial difficulty, family problems to addiction – Hospitality Action is here to get hospitality workers back on their feet again. And when it’s no longer possible to work, they can help you prepare for the next phase of your life.
